wow. I haven't posted in a while. A lot has been going on in my life and none of it is any fun. Lots of sadness but happiness is just around the corner, I hope. Ya gotta believe.

Because spring is here. The birds are singing, the buds are budding. The deer are eating the buds. I've got 2 tulips I'm covering at nite. I'm determined to save them from deer noshing. Wish me luck!

Well the holidays are behind us and the new year awaits. I have to say 2008 was not my favorite. Some personal family illnesses were especially hard to take and then there was that nasty winter, which seems to want to repeat itself. 

But I'm looking forward to a better 2009 with a hopeful heart that my loved ones will be restored to perfect health, and a strong will to achieve my creative goals. I will also strive to make some new friends and have some fun!

Here are my Christmas icons.

They are little clay figures I make to celebrate the season. I have large ones as well which I put all over the house at this time of year. I've sold many of them but have kept my favorites and probably will never part with them. I'll post their pictures once I start my decorating.

I've got to get through Thanksgiving first!

Welcome to my blog!  My name, is Judi Boehner (sounds like Bayner, looks like Boner). I am an artist who has dabbled in many media, but my passion right now is conquering the limitless possibilities of Photoshop.  I see my computer as another tool to bring my designs to fruition, just as my paintbrushes and pastels have in the past. Creating works of art on a computer challenges and excites me.  This process is not without frustration, as many of you can relate to!

I define myself as an artist, but my life is rich with many roles including mom, sister, daughter,  friend,  wife, and most recently Grammy J!  

This is a short intro and I look forward to sharing my thoughts and my work, as well as hearing from you as time goes on. . .
